Junk Journaling & Paper Recycling / Craft
Paper mechanisms: pockets, tabs and folds
Build a decision library: top pocket, side pocket, corner pocket, hinged tab, double gate and accordion fold. Use 100 × 150 mm bases so function remains comparable. Design motion before decoration. Making expendable prototypes does not qualify you to repair historic books.
Self-paced text and illustrated workshop
Materials and prerequisites
New paper or clean scraps, thin card, pencil, ruler, scissors, suitable blunt needle and thread, piercing support; paper adhesive used according to its maker only on expendable reproductions.
Final project
Six mechanism cards with patterns, dimensions and cycle tests.
Certificates are issued by Persian Art Group with online verification. Both foundation and advanced credentials require completed lessons and an assessed passing project. They are not academic degrees or professional licences.
