Junk Journaling & Paper Recycling / Craft

Journal structure, bulk and binding engineering

Build a twelve-leaf journal with a reopenable fastening, not a conservation binding or load-bearing object. The sample format is 120 × 170 mm. Simulate final bulk with surrogate inserts before decoration. Each measurement applies to the tested stock; do not convert it into a universal formula or durability guarantee.

Self-paced text and illustrated workshop

Materials and prerequisites

New paper or clean scraps, thin card, pencil, ruler, scissors, suitable blunt needle and thread, piercing support; paper adhesive used according to its maker only on expendable reproductions.

Final project

A bulk dummy, expandable journal and measurement/revision dossier.

Certificates are issued by Persian Art Group with online verification. Both foundation and advanced credentials require completed lessons and an assessed passing project. They are not academic degrees or professional licences.
